Jericho

Jericho had a great day with his teacher that comes every week.  She likes to let him paint.  It was suppose to be stencil paint but he wanted to finger paint.  Ta Da!! Then they did the flannel board story of the 3 pigs.  His teacher told it first and then let Jericho and Liberty (mostly Libby) tell it back to her.  They had a lot of fun!

Mud Puddle?

Hunter and Dakota came running inside and said Liberty and Jericho are playing in a mud puddle.

I thought it was on the side walk from the sprinkler.  Not really mud and it was no big deal.  Kids don't worry -k-

I went out side and found that our drip system to our trees had leaked and i found Jericho & Libby having a blast!

The bath tub looked like this puddle.  I had to drain it and refill it to get them both clean. What a fun day!

Colorado Day 6 & 7

Sunday night was bad with Dakota up off and on all night saying her stomach hurt.  Finally in the morning she threw up.  Alex & Eric went golfing and we were suppose to go see Gods Garden.  What should I do with sick kid.  Emily said she would stay and watch her and the adventure was still on.  Hunter did mention it was silly to call this God's Garden when the whole earth is his garden right.  Smart 7 year old. Here are the slide show of our trip.

After we walked all over the garden we went to lunch at the closest place (Sonic) to feed the crew.  Dakota did relly good while we were gone and then got sick again but then felt better.  We had another wonderful  dinner and then Polly wanted pictures of her Family when a photographer was avalable so everyone got ready starting with Brittlynn:

Savannah says I'm ready too.

The Lescaurbeau Family picture including Angel... and know the moment you have all been waiting for.  Yes that is right it is the water balloon fight.  Alex & Hunter spent a lot of the afternoon filing water balloons up.  And what do you do with water ballons but have a fight...

I missed the whole long thing (it took 5 Minutes)

But Grandmere was able to catch a couple pictures

Looks like everyone got wet (but me)

And they had a really good time!!

Then we had stories from Aunt Polly

And we put everyone to bed..................... Exxcept me and Grandmere who went off to the store to get grocries so we would not have to stop at a fast food place.  We then packed all the bags up and loaded our SUV.
Tues. Sept 7th we got up extra early again and finished loading the car with bags and kids and headed out. We got a little lost looking for the freeway but made it there. Everyone was ready to go home but no one wanted to drive. We dropped Grandmere & Kohyn off in Beaver (Her car was still there) and made it home at 7ish that night. We came home to more laundry, school tomorrow, homework tomorrow and a very lonley husband. What a week!

Colorado Day 4 & 5

On Sat. Sept 4 we got up really early to leave the house at 6:30.  That's right with 9 kids (5 under 3) and 4 adults.  We wanted to see the air balloon show.  We took all the kids in there PJ's.  It was really cold.  But we made it!!!

Watching and waiting

Beautiful Colorado

Another Beautiful park ( we went to 4 different ones all amazing)

Eric and Savannah (Look Dad Here they go)

After the balloons we went home just in time to see Alex play soccer. They tied and it was a  great game.  But between going to the bathroom and casing 8 kids (5 under 3) then we did not get any pictures.  He goes to Liberty High school which made Liberty's Day.  She insisted that she will also be going to Liberty High School Musical and started singing.  We came home for lunch and naps then we woke up to go swim at a very cool indoor pool.  There were waves and a lazy river and a whirl pool and a slide.   Alex drove there in front of us (he has his permit) and that was exciting too.  Anyways here is another slide show.  I just learned how to do this and there were so many pictures I wanted to share them all....

After swimming for 2 hours we stoped for pizza and brought it home and sent exhausted cousins to bed.  Then the big day is tomorrow.

Sunday Sept 5th:  Brittlynn's Blessing day
Sometime in the night Chris got there from Idaho to bless the baby.  Mom had finished the dress last night except buttons and Polly finished the shoes this morning.

Then after another wonderful day we sent everyone to bed. Only one more day with cousins and then it is back to Vegas

Colorado Day 3

We started Friday Sept 3 with a trip to the base to see a really cool parade.  It was to start top 11 am.  We got 7 children (5 under 3) and 3 adults ready by 10 and out the door by 10:15 not bad at all.  We are driving when I realize I have no ID to get on base.  Opps.  But we make it in.  Park very far.  Get to take to different buses to the parade.  Arrive at 10:55 yes right on time.  Looking for Eric.  Everyone on the field throws hats in the air.  And its over.  Eric can't be found.  Brittlynn is hungery.  We missed it all  what should we do?

Play: London Bridges falling down

Chase

Duck Duck Goose

Hide and go seek

And we all fall down

Swinging rope

Tag your it.  And then we go back to the bus to get to our car.  We can't go to the park on base (no ID)  so off to another park for lunch and play time.

We had a fablous day.  A movie night that night and all of my favorite food that my husband does not like.  Polly and me stay up talking to long almost every night.
