Stiches out!

Jericho got his stiches out. 

He was a little nervous. " Tell me when they start MOM." Holding tight to my hand.
"They are all done"
Jericho says the funniest things.
The doctor said to him you are so brave.  He said I am not brave Hunter is brave.  Who is Hunter the doctor wanted to know.  He is my big brother... But we HATE each other Jericho said.
Then later that day Jericho said When I lived in heaven I wished for a really nice mom.  I said how did that work out for you?  He said not so good.  I said you did not get a nice mom?  He said he was wishing for a nicer one.

Crazy Day

We found a helmet at DI for $15

So Dad ask Libby if she wants to go for a ride?

So off they go......

She said it was a little scary he went a little fast!

A week with the Lescarbeau Cousins!

So the Adventure begins... The cousins arrive after a very long drive on Tuesday July 15th.  We have dinner with Grandmere before she leaves to he3r brothers wedding for a week.  Grandmere gives Brittlynn her birthday gifts a little late.

                                            Brittlynn loves them and gives great big hugs.

              The next day WEDNESDAY JULY 16  we meet them at Aliante Station and watch
                                                            The Rise of the Guardians. 
                                                   I had never seen it and it was so good.

                           We came to my house for lunch and then the kids played a lot.
                                     We had pack meeting so they went to the Hotel early.
                   The next day THURSDAY July 17 we went swimming at there hotel pool.
                                                   We ate lunch and had lots of fun.

 

  After the pool we headed to the D Hotel were we saw Lafternoon staring Adam Londan.  He was amazing, funny, intertaining, and kid appropriate!

We came home and had Pizza for dinner my kids favorite.

 

 

On Friday July 18th it was time for the cousin birthday party.  We do it every year when we get together.  This year we did it at Build a Bear.  Jericho and Liberty had never went and we had never had a birthday party there so it was supper fun!

 

The kids all got together and was told how it worked

                                   Then they all went and picked out there animal ( libby got a cat)

                                                  Then they named each of there animals

                                       Jericho had a hard time thinking of a name

                                          Then we had a parade and was told to be really loud

                             Then they gave each of them a heart to put inside there animal

                                                     Some of the kids played hula hoop

                                                    While the others stuffed there bears.

                             After the hula game we tried to name as many animals using ABC order.

                                            Then we dressed them and took them home.

                                      After build a bear we went to In and out and then
                                                    swimming some more at there hotel.

Then it was off to the drive in to see How to train a Dragon 2 and Transformers.  We stayed for both movies but the cousins left after the dragon movie.

                 On Saturday July 19th we went to the lake.  We had lunch and swam a while.
                                            A nice day, not to hot but a lot of wind.

 Jericho started screaming and I picked him up and he was bleeding so off we went to the quick care

for stiches. The closest quick care to the lake is a 45 min drive.  Good thing it was not a true emergency.
 Polly and her family left early the next day.  Thanks for a great week and wonderful cousin adventure!
